Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is essential for 'doctors, nurses and health workers' to combat the deadly virus.
However, the government has not been able to provide PPE in sufficient quantities.
In this situation, a 'PPE' distribution program has been started among 'doctors, nurses and health workers' from Friday (April 10, 2020) at the initiative of 'Martyr President Ziaur Rahman Foundation and Doctors Association of Bangladesh, DAB'.
In phases, 'PPE' will also be provided to doctors, nurses and health workers of 84 private medical colleges and dental college hospitals in the country.
On the eve of the program, Chairman of the Martyr President Ziaur Rahman Foundation Tarique Rahman said, 'In the coronavirus situation, it is the demand of the hour for every citizen to rise above party or political interests and play a role in helping each other from this moment on.'
