Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim On the occasion of the upcoming conference of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), I extend my warmest greetings and congratulations to all the members and leaders of the organization. Inspired by the ideals of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, this organization is a leading platform for patriotic doctors engaged in the medical profession. The health sector is one of the main foundations of a nation's fundamental rights and development. Building a modern, scientific and humane health system is not only the responsibility of the government, but also the moral and professional responsibility of doctors. I firmly believe that DAB will play a leading role in the structural development of the country's health sector, building modern infrastructure and making healthcare accessible and affordable to the general public. In the current context, the weaknesses and difficulties of the country's health system have forced us to think in a new way and move towards long-term planning. Therefore, through this conference, DAB will determine its new course of action and play an effective role in meeting the challenges of the future - this is my expectation. DAB has played a strong role in protecting public health since its inception. I believe that this organization will continue to make the greatest contribution to health sector reforms, policy-making, and the development of the healthcare system in the future. Let us all work together to build a healthy, vibrant, and humane Bangladesh – where every citizen will be assured of their fundamental right to healthcare. May Allah help us.
