The first step of a one-and-a-half-month-long specialist free medical service and medicine distribution program for the needy and helpless people across the country began today on the instructions of BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman.

On Saturday (December 06), a free medical camp was organized in Lalkuthi area of ​​Sutrapur by the initiative of BNP nominated candidate for Dhaka-6 constituency Engineer Israk Hossain, courtesy of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) and in collaboration with DAB National Medical College and Hospital Branch.

The program was inaugurated by DAB Honorable President Professor Dr. Harun Al Rashid. DAB Secretary General Dr. Zahirul Islam Shakil, Treasurer Dr. Md. Mehedi Hasan, National Medical College DAB President, General Secretary and other leaders and specialist doctors were present as special guests.

The organizers said that the goal of this program is to provide specialist medical services to the helpless, low-income and disadvantaged communities and to more firmly implement the social responsibilities of the BNP leadership through humanitarian assistance.
