DAB and Ziaur Rahman Foundation have launched an emergency relief operation to help the flood-affected people in the Feni district of Bangladesh.

Under the direction of the Foundation's President Tarique Rahman and led by Executive Director Dr. Farhad Halim Donor, this operation is being carried out, where food, clean water, medicines, and other essential items are being distributed to about 1,200 families affected by the flood.

Relief distribution operation in Feni

The foundation is conducting relief distribution operations in the particularly affected areas of Feni district, such as Chagalnaiya, Daganbhuiyan, Sonagazi, and Feni Sadar Upazilas. Under the direction of Tarique Rahman and under the supervision of Dr. Farhad Halim Donor, the foundation is distributing food items, clean drinking water, dry food, baby food, medicines, and other emergency relief items to 1,200 families.

The foundation is conducting this operation in coordination with the local administration and social organizations.

Formation of a volunteer team

The foundation's volunteer team is supervised by Tarique Rahman and under the supervision of Dr. Under the leadership of Farhad Halim Donor, the relief activities are being conducted smoothly and assistance is being provided to the affected people quickly. The team is visiting the flood-affected areas, helping to distribute relief materials and helping the homeless families to take shelter in safe places. In addition, the team is playing an active role in providing first aid and rescuing people trapped in flood waters.

Special Assistance Activities

The Foundation is conducting special assistance activities for children, the elderly, and the sick in Feni district. Nutritious food and educational materials are being distributed to the children. In addition, emergency medicines and medical equipment are being provided to those who need medical assistance. The Foundation is taking special initiatives for the rehabilitation of families who have completely lost their homes.
